Colour Psychology: Purple

Colour plays a major role when designing the built environment. Choice of colour can have an overwhelming effect on the way a building is perceived by those that view it, walk by it and occupy it each day.

This colour is a mixture of red and blue, which are two colours that are psychologically most opposed. Purple can appear delicate and rich, or unsettling and degenerate.
